TWO STARTS
THE START
The main Start is from Fairhaven Lake, South Car Park, or you can start
from The Bay Horse, Thornton. Start any time between 8.30am and 10.00am.
THE ROUTES
A detailed route will be provided on receipt of your registration. There
will be a marshal at each check point along the route, where you will be
given a sticker to stick onto your rider number.
THE FINISH
The finish lines will close at 3.00pm
SPONSORSHIP
On receipt of your entry form and fee we will send you more details including
your rider number and sponsorship form.
After the ride please hand in your rider number to a marshal to receive
your completion certificate.
Brian House relies heavily on public donations to maintain its services
to local children and their families. Your entry fee covers the cost of
administration and running the event. Your sponsorship money goes directly
into patient care and therefore we would ask for you to raise as much as
possible.
Your sponsorship form and money should be returned to the Hospice by the
end of July.
ENTRY FEE
Entry fee will be £6.00 per adult £4 per child or £15
for a family (2 adults + kids)
CONDITIONS:
Riders under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The aim of this event is to
help provide on-going funding for Brian House Children’s Hospice, which
relies heavily on voluntary donations. Your sponsorship is vital in order
to support this local children’s charity. Cycling on the highway is
a potentially dangerous activity. All riders must observe all the rules of
The Highway Code and obey the Golden Rules of the Road. For your own safety
wear a helmet. It must be pointed out that cycling can be a strenuous activity
and therefore, all participants should be in a reasonable state of health.
