year Trinity has to raise a considerable sum from the local
community. For the year 2007/8, £2.3
million is
the amount required to maintain the care and services offered
by Trinity.
 Obviously,
this could not be achieved without the generosity and support
of the local community, individuals, groups, organisations
all rally round. Events vary from sponsored walks, cycle rides,
fun runs to the more bizarre, such as head shaves, parachute
jumps, staying all night in haunted houses etc. Children and
Schools become involved to support Brian House the children's
hospice, with sponsored silences, sleep-overs, bun bakes, garage
sales and collectively schools have non uniform days, all of
which contribute to the overall total.
 If
you, or any of your friends wish to take on a challenge why not
consider raising funds to help the hospice, remember Trinity
is a local hospice for local people. We are only too happy to
lend our support and assist in whatever way we can, by supplying
stickers, posters etc., to publicise the event, provide sponsorship
forms, or just offer advice.
